PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a installation method for segments capable of constructing a tunnel with high working efficiency. SOLUTION: When installation work for the segments is carried out, two or more segments adjacent to each other are attached to form an assembly body in advance. When assembly bodies A to F are formed in advance, and after a segment 36 of the assembly body A is connected between the segments 31 and 35, a segment 38 of the assembly body B is connected, and then, the assembly bodies C, D, E and F are successively connected in the circumferential direction. After that, an empty space is formed between a segment 47 of the assembly body F and a segment 39 of the assembly body B.
