PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective plate for transportation capable of simply packing a winding body of a thermoplastic resin-made band having no winding core and protecting the winding body from external shock applied during transportation. SOLUTION: When transporting the winding body of the thermoplastic resin-made band having no winding core, a plurality of locking parts are formed at a predetermined interval at the outer periphery of the protective plate used to protect a side face of the winding body, and an outer fringe of the locking part protrudes outward more than an outer peripheral face of the winding body of the thermoplastic resin-made band.
