PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of reducing power consumption, and stably carrying a recorded medium with adhesive at all times. SOLUTION: Interlocking with an action closing a case cover 4, a side edge in a left side direction of an auxiliary sheet 6c is pressed by a pressing guide member 8 moved in a direction for pressing a side surface portion of the auxiliary sheet 6c of a paper package 6. Therefore, the auxiliary sheet 6c is sandwiched between each projecting portion 8a of a pressing guide member 8 and each projecting portion 10a of a guide member 10 opposing to the projecting portion 8a. The width dimensions of heat-sensitive paper 6a is formed to be smaller than that of the auxiliary sheet 6c by specified dimensions (for example, about 0.3 mm), so that the heat-sensitive paper 6a is carried by a pick-up roller 20 while prevented from being pressed in the guide member 10 direction by the pressing guide member 8 at the time of printing.
