PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating member for an electrostatic discharge shock preventing screwdriver. SOLUTION: The coating member is composed of a grip portion 1 for a screwdriver, which has an insertion hole to pass and fix a core rod portion 5 having an engaging portion 6 for engaging with a screw at the tip end thereof and a cover tube 4 which can pass and fix the tip end side of the core rod portion 5 of the screwdriver. These elements are made of semiconductive plastics having surface resistivity of 106to 109Ωand volume resistivity of 104to 109Ωcm. Further, the insertion hole is composed of a core rod insertion hole 2 for the core rod, and an insertion hole 3 for preventing the idle rotation of the core rod portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
