PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure of a chain for bathtubs which gives a good appearance since a part mounted on the bathtub is not obtrusive and never gives uncomfortable feeling to a user if the part mounted on the bathtub makes contact with the user. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the chain for bathtubs has a ring (2) mounted on the inner wall of the bathtub (1) and a connecting member (5) placed between the ring (2), and the chain (4) having a drain plug (3) for the bathtub (1) attached to the end of the chain (4). The connecting member (5) comprises a ring attaching part (6) directly attached to the ring (2), and a chain attaching part (7) directly attached to the chain (4). The ring attaching part (6) is formed into a curved cylindrical body (8), which is concentric with a cross section of the ring (2), and slides on the surface of the ring (2).
