PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal comprising a side dual dial keypad is provided to mount a dial key which separately comprises a consonant key and a vowel key on a side of the terminal, so that a user can easily input characters. CONSTITUTION: A dial key(30) is inserted such that a portion only of the dial key(30) can be protruded from one side or both sides of the body(10). A sensing unit senses a motion of the dial key(30). The dial key(30) consists of a consonant key and a vowel key. Plural character recognition holes are pierced on upper/lower sides of the dial key(30) along the circumference. The sensing unit senses a character inputted by being transmitted through the character recognition holes.
