PURPOSE: A condition table of a washing machine is provided to measure accurately hardness of the water with a temperature sensor and an electrode sensor by deciding conductivity according to the temperature of the water and judging the amount of detergents based on the decided hardness. CONSTITUTION: In a washing machine for deciding a washing pattern through a condition table schematized in a constant form according to conductivity detected by an electrode sensor(22) and the temperature of the water detected by a temperature sensor(24), the condition table is composed of a hardness table for judging the hardness of the water by sensing the conductivity and temperature of the water and a detergent input sensing table for judging the amount of detergent inserted into the water according to the determined hardness.
