PURPOSE: A screen driving method for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to drive separately the entire screen of a large scale LCD with high resolution according to screen driving modes in a system, thereby using efficiently the entire screen of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: When a screen driving mode is selected by a screen driving mode input member such as a keyboard of a computer or screen driving buttons of the LCD(S100), a system discriminates the screen driving mode selected by an input function(S110). When a dual mode selection signal is transmitted to the input function, the system drives the screen as a dual mode(S120), whereas when a signal mode selection signal is transmitted, the system drives the screen as a single mode(S121). At the single mode, the entire screen is driven and at the dual mode, the screen is divided into the first and second driving screens. The first and second driving screens are driven individually. |
