PURPOSE: A system for offering customized real-time multimedia traffic information combining a moving image, text, and a voice, and a service method thereof are provided to offer the traffic information of a specified location to a needed user in a multimedia form through the network by constructing a database with moving image traffic information, traffic circulation information, and accident information. CONSTITUTION: A basic traffic information preprocessor(1) converts a signal transmitted from a raw traffic information collector(9) into a digital screen or the text. A basic traffic information database(2) stores continued still images of multiple locations, traffic detection data, and accident information. A voice traffic information generator(3) converts the circulation information and the accident information loaded from a traffic detection database(21) and an accident information database(22) into the voice. A moving image traffic information generator(4) comprises an image-text combining module(40), an image size controlling module(41), and a moving image converting module(42). |
