PURPOSE: A water leakage-sensing device of a dishwasher is provided to effectively sense water leakage when a failure and a fault of the water leakage-sensing device occur. CONSTITUTION: A water leakage-sensing device of a dishwasher comprises a base cover(100) formed to the lower part of a tub(50); Styrofoam(300) floating by the negative pressure if the base cover is filled with water; a float switch(800) switched off by coming in contact with the Styrofoam floating by water leakage; a guide part(200) fixing the right and left movement of the Styrofoam and guiding exact switching of the float switch; and a water leakage-sensing control circuit(400) sensing water leakage through the switching of the float switch, discharging water in the tub by driving a drainage pump, and displaying a water leakage error message. Leaking water is put in the base cover.
