In the specific embodiments a polyethylene terephthalate sheet is vapour coated with aluminium and then coated with a mixture of TiO 2 , chlorinated polyethylene and benzoic, stearic, oleic, dehydrobietic, tetrahydroabietic, 2-naphthene sulphonic or 1 nitro-anthraquinone carboxylic acid, zinc benzoate or tetrahydrorosinate, sodium stearate, potassium oleate, calcium abietate or cadmium, aluminium, magnesium or zinc rosinate. Many other binders and bases are specified. The organic acid or salt thereof acts as a decay retarder. |
