PORTABLE DISPLAY DEVICE FOR PERFORMING WIRED/WIRELESS RDP COMMUNICATION DEPENDING ON DOCKING AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A portable display device for performing wired/wireless RDP(Remote Desktop Protocol) communication depending on docking and a controlling method thereof are provided to efficiently use external resources such as a host PC and multiple portable display devices by simultaneously using the portable display devices in a docking state with the host PC. CONSTITUTION: A docking part(220) judges the docking with an external device. A wireless interface(260) offers a wireless interface of the external device in case of an undocking state with the external device. A wired interface(250) offers a wired interface of the external device in the case of the docking state with the external device. A controller(210) performs the communication with the external device by controlling the wireless interface or the wired interface depending on the docking state. Both interfaces provide the communication interface following the RDP.
