LCD TO PERFORM AN OUTPUT TEST OF A GATE DRIVER IC IN A COG TYPE

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to perform an output test of a gate driver IC(Integrated Circuit) in a COG(Chips On Glass) type of driving ICs by forming a test point for testing existence of a gate signal upon a source PCB(Printed Circuit Board). CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(41) is comprised of liquid crystal cells arrayed as a matrix type at cross parts of a plurality of gate lines(G) and a plurality of data lines(D). A plurality of gate driving ICs(42), formed at an edge of the liquid crystal panel, applies a gate signal to the gate lines. A source driving IC chip for applying a data signal to the data lines is mounted on a source TCP(Tape Carrier Package)(43). A source PCB(44) transfers an external control signal to the source TCP. A test point(45), mounted on one side of the source PCB and electrically connected to each gate line, tests an output of the gate signal.
