ANTITHROMBOTIC AGENT INCLUDING DISINTEGRIN DERIVED FROM ADAM-15 PROTEIN AS EFFECTIVE INGREDIENT USEFUL AS THERAPEUTIC FOR THROMBOSIS

PURPOSE: An antithrombotic agent including disintegrin, hD15k, derived from Adam-15 protein as an effective ingredient is provided. The hD15k effectively inhibits thrombus formation while remarkably reducing adverse effects induced by conventional disintegrin binding to αvβ3 integrin without cytotoxicity. Therefore, it is useful as a therapeutic for thrombosis. CONSTITUTION: The antithrombotic agent contains an effective amount of, preferably 0.1 to 0.5mg/kg weight of a new recombinant protein, hD15k. The hD15k is obtained by mutating a disintegrin gene derived from Adam-15 protein and expressing it in Pichia pastoris. It has SEQ IN NO:2 and inhibits thrombus formation specifically on GPIIb/IIIa integrin present on the platelet surface.
