PURPOSE: A rail connecting device using an insulation joint member for a track is provided to prevent the accident from wrong operation of a signal security system by restricting a short circuit, and to improve working efficiency by reducing the working hours and waste of material. CONSTITUTION: A rail connecting device for jointing rails(10,11) by combining an assembling member(16) with an assembling hole formed in the rail to insulate and connect the faced rails in the impulse track is composed of a rail insulation piece inserted between the faced rails and formed as high as the rail, and an insulation joint piece(17) composed of a recessed groove corresponding to the rail insulation piece and a penetration hole integrated with the assembling hole of the rail and contacted and fixed to both sides of the rail by the assembling member to fix and support the rail insulation piece to the recessed groove.
