摘要 PURPOSE: A multiple gray scale display device using a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) is provided to prevent an increase of a PWM according to an increase of a data bit and improve a degree of integration by reducing the number of lines for driving channels and simplifying a structure of a decoder. CONSTITUTION: A multiple gray scale display device includes a plurality of input units(410_1 to 410_n), a count signal generator(400), and a plurality of decoding and PWM signal generators(420_1 to 420_n). The input units output plural image data of N bits having gray scales to drive corresponding channels. The count signal generator is used for outputting count signals of N bits corresponding to the image data of N bits. The decoding and PWM signal generators are used for comparing the image data of N bits with the count signals and outputting PWM signals corresponding to the image data of N bits.
