PURPOSE: A DC-DC converter and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent damage of components caused due to a non-uniformity of current distribution, by sequentially driving switching units. CONSTITUTION: A DC-DC converter comprises a plurality of switching units(10a,10b,10c) for switching on/off the supply of DC power from a power supply unit; a plurality of switching driving units(12a,12b,12c) for driving the respective switching units; a control unit including a plurality of enable terminals(22a,22b,22c). The control unit sequentially outputs pulse width modulation signals to the switching driving units such that the switching units are sequentially driven in accordance with the enable signals sequentially input from the enable terminals.
