PURPOSE: An email service device equipped with function to safely delete or modify a wrongly sent email and a method for the same are provided to protect privacy and secret of a sender by enabling the sender to collect or delete the wrongly sent email. CONSTITUTION: A code generating module(133) generates a code for the made email by responding to a send command for sending the email to a receiving mail server(150) of a receiver. A mail database(135) stores the email and the generated code. An code sending module(137) transmits sender information including the code of the email to the receiving mail server. A comparing module(139) receives the code inputted from the receiving mail server, compares the received code with the code stored in the mail database, and outputs a comparing result. A data transfer controlling module(141) displays the email stored in the mail database to a display device of the receiver by responding to an output signal of the code comparing module. In case that the sender deletes the email, the code of the deleted email is changed. |
