MOBILE DISPLAY DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR COMMUNICATING WITH HOST COMPUTER

PURPOSE: A mobile display device and system for communicating with a host computer is provided to increase use time of the mobile display device by embedding a wired module in a docking station, and remove a switching noise on a screen by properly controlling a switch time between the wired module and a wireless module. CONSTITUTION: The wired module(120) receives a wired input signal applied from the docking station when the mobile display device is connected to the docking station, and outputs it as the first video signal. The wireless module(110) receives a wireless input signal applied from the host computer when the mobile display device is released from the docking station, and outputs it as the second video signal. A display panel(160) displays the first or the second video signal. A display controller(150) switches the first and the second video signal applied from the wired/wireless module depending on the connection with the docking station by giving a margin. The display controller applies a control signal to turn on/off video played on the display panel for switching.
