HOLLOW RAYON PILE FABRIC HAVING EXCELLENT UPRIGHTNESS, BULKINESS AND FORCE OF RESTITUTION, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Pile fabric comprised of rayon hollow yarn has excellent uprightness, force of restitution, bulkiness and thermo-keeping property. A manufacturing method thereof is provided. CONSTITUTION: Hollow rayon pile fabric is obtained by the steps of: using cellulose diacetate long fiber having 2.0-2.75 of substitution as pile yarn; weaving pile fabric out of the cellulose diacetate long fiber; cutting the piles be situated between both ground weaves; putting 10wt.% of a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution and a weight loss promotor to reduce the weight and to saponify partly 25-75% of acetyl group into hydroxy group; and then treating the pile fabric with an organic solvent to dissolve cellulose acetate parts which are on an inner layer and are not saponified.
