PURPOSE: Provided is a method of manufacturing an electromagnetic shielding fiber which easily removes reduced metals from the roller bar at a low cost, and solves the problematic oxidation of the copper plating while enhancing the electromagnetic shielding effect. CONSTITUTION: The method of manufacturing an electromagnetic shielding fiber comprises the steps of: cleaning the base fiber; etching the cleaned base fiber; dipping the etched base fiber in a solution containing tin chloride and hydrochloride acid to sensitize it; dipping the sensitized base fiber in a solution containing palladium chloride and hydrochloride acid to palladium-coat it; dipping the coated base fiber in a solution containing copper sulfate to form a copper film thereon; and dipping the copper-coated base fiber in a solution containing nickel sulfate to form a nickel film thereon. During the processing steps, the base fiber is carried by a roller bar formed with poly tetra fluoro ethylene (PTFE), or glass.
