PURPOSE: Provided is a film for protecting the surface of a machine such as a metal plate, a glass for a flat plate display, etc. which can be released and separated without a buffering material such as a lining paper. CONSTITUTION: The film(A) comprises a film main body(4); an adhesive layer(3) formed on one side of the film main body; a nonwoven layer(1) as a releasing material formed on the adhesive layer; and an extrusion coating layer(2) as a cohesive layer formed on the other side of the film main body. Preferably the nonwoven layer is embossed and the area of the embossing-treated region is 5-30 % of the total area of the nonwoven. Preferably the nonwoven layer is prepared by preparing a monofilament from polyolefin and polyethylene terephthalate and combining them by melt blown or spun bond method.
