A machine of the type disclosed in Specification 762198 for making knotted nets include anti-vibration devices for the yarn roll; yarn guide beam; primary, secondary and hook needle beams. The machine can thereby be made wider than would otherwise be the case. The yarn guide support 12 is pivotally connected at points along its length by an arm 18 to a disc 15 fixed to a hollow shaft 16. The discs support a further shaft 21 to which the support is also pivoted. The hollow shafts have greater torsional resistance than the supports. Vibration of the roll is prevented by pairs of rollers pressed against it, or a groove cut in it. The hollow, square section, hook needle beam is strengthened by internal struts. |
