PURPOSE: A power cord including a power blocking device is provided to set a device blocking power supplied to an electronic device such as a computer in the power cord to prevent the computer from being indiscreetly used. CONSTITUTION: A power cord includes a power blocking unit(50) set in the middle part of a cable(11). The power blocking unit includes a box-shaped housing(51) connected to the center of the cable, a connector(52), a power on/off member(53), a power connecting terminal(54), and a guide groove(52a). The connector is inserted into the housing and separated from the housing through the top of the housing to supply power to the cable connected to both ends of the housing. The power on/off member is hinge-combined with the connector and turns on/off a power on/off switch. The power connecting terminal is inserted into a connecting terminal connection hole(51a) of the housing. The guide groove is formed at both sides of the connector.
