The invention refers to the food industry and may be used in the dough kneading units. The batch-type dough kneading mixer contains a vat, a mixing tool, set in motion by an electric motor (4) by means of a variator with electromagnets, connected to an electric-current amplifier and a system for disconnection of the electric motor (4) at a preset value of the variator transmission ratio. On the vat bottom there is additionally installed a blade (5), actuated with a constant speed by an electric motor (6), connected to the abovesaid system for disconnection, the amplifier being inductively connected to the electric motor (6). The result of the invention consists in increasing the tool speed control accuracy that leads to the improvement of the finished product's quality.
