PURPOSE: A mobile communication device and a photograph mode sensing method are provided to allow a user to easily photograph a desired subject by holding a combination handle battery pack. CONSTITUTION: The second housing(20) is connected to be rotatable centering around the first hinge axis toward a direction of becoming close or far in a state that the second housing(20) faces the first housing(10) at a top surface thereof. The third housing(30) is connected to be rotatable centering around the second hinge axis(A2) with the second housing(20) toward a direction of becoming close or far in a state that the third housing(30) faces the first housing(10) at the top surface thereof. A combination handle battery pack(40) is connected to be rotatable centering around the third hinge axis(A3) toward a direction of becoming close or far in a state that the combination handle battery pack(40) is maintained to face the first housing(10) at a bottom surface thereof. A sensing unit senses whether the combination handle battery pack is rotated.
