PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a voice message to a mobile phone and a computer device therefor are provided to transmit a voice message not demanding prompt transmission without outputting a bell sound in a mobile phone of a receiver, thereby preventing disturbance to the receiver. CONSTITUTION: If a caller selects a message transmitting menu(4) to send a voice message to a receiver. The selection of the message transmitting menu(4) is transmitted to a mobile phone service company server(5). The mobile phone service company server(5) outputs an announcement voice for guiding a recording to a mobile phone(1) of the caller through an ARS(Automatic Response Service) system(6). The caller records a voice message and inputs a telephone number of the receiver to store the telephone number at a database(7) of the mobile phone service company server(5). The mobile phone service company server(5) transmits a short message to a display window(9) of a mobile phone(8) of the receiver. The receiver selects a message receiving menu. If a list of telephone numbers is displayed, the receiver selects one of the telephone numbers. The mobile phone service company server(5) transmits the short message corresponding to the telephone number to the mobile phone(8) of the receiver.
