PURPOSE: A cervical spine fixing apparatus and a driver used therein are provided to facilitate an operation and reduce operation duration by easily deforming an end portion of a screw head fixing member while a screw is inserted. CONSTITUTION: A cervical spine fixing apparatus includes a plate(12) and a screw(14) which is inserted to the cervical spine while coupled with the plate. A screw head fixing member(16) is fixed on a region adjacent to a bonded portion of the plate and the screw. The screw head fixing member is pressed by an inserted screw and is recoiled to be fixed on the screw head when the screw head is safely mounted on the plate. A reception hole(22), having the screw head and the screw head fixing member therein, is formed on the plate. The reception hole includes an aperture to which the screw is inserted and a recess portion(22b) to which the screw head is mounted.
