PURPOSE: A digital toy assembly is provided which is capable of producing a sound with lips moving substantially in the same manner that a human speaks, thereby imparting a more interesting experience to a child playing with the toy. CONSTITUTION: The digital toy assembly(100) comprises: a source recognizing unit(410) for recognizing a source of a letter or sound; a voice converting unit(420) for converting the letter or sound recognized by the source recognizing unit(410) into a voice message; a speaker(300) for outputting the converted voice; a toy(200) incorporating the source recognizing unit(410), the voice converting unit(420) and the speaker(300); a controller(400) for determining a lip shape of the toy(200) to be one corresponding to the voice output from the speaker(300); and a lip shape adjusting unit(500) driven by the controller(400) and varying lip shapes of the toy(200).
