摘要 PURPOSE: A color filter, a method for manufacturing a color filter, a discharge method, a display device, a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display, an electrooptic device, an electronic equipment, a method for manufacturing electronic equipment are provided to remove difference in a shade of color of color light by changing thickness of a coloring area corresponding to frequency of light passing coloring layers, thereby improving color balance of reflective display and transmissive display. CONSTITUTION: A rear substrate(2) having light transmission is opposite to a front substrate(11). A reflecting layer(3) has apertures(4) formed on a front surface of the rear substrate. A transparent coating layer(25) is formed on the reflecting layer. Colorless boundary layers(5) and color boundary layers(21) are formed on the transparent coating layer to surround the apertures. A plurality of discharged parts are formed by the colorless boundary layers and the color boundary layers, wherein predetermined coloring solutions are applied to the discharged parts. Coloring layers(6R,6G,6B) are formed by applying the coloring solutions. An overcoating layer(8) covers the colorless boundary layers and the color boundary layers, and the coloring layers.
