摘要 PURPOSE: A material for sealing a public or industrial metal heater operating at a temperature of less than 400deg.C is provided, which is absorbed easily into a filling powder of the inside of the heater and can prevent the oxidation of a heater module and the damage of appearance and can improve endurance. CONSTITUTION: The material for sealing the metal heater(27) comprises 70-90wt% of PbO, 10.0-11.9wt% of ZnO, 1.0-2.1wt% of SiO2, 1.0-2.1wt% of BaO, and 7.0-10.0wt% of B2O3 and has a specific gravity of 6.7±0.2, a glass transition temperature of 320± 10deg.C, a softening point of 390±10deg.C, and a thermal expansion coefficient of 108x 10¬-7/deg.C. When the sealing material is formed and applied to a heater sealing process, a loss of ignition(1g loss) is less than 0.05% and the sealing material is absorbed into the inside filling powder(25) within 10sec by heating the heater module at 500-550deg.C.
