PURPOSE: An automatic seat belt adjusting device of a vehicle is provided to prevent the body from being inclined and to deploy the airbag accurately at a collision by rewinding the seat belt automatically in predicting the collision of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An automatic seat belt adjusting device of a vehicle comprises a gear axially mounted to a rotating shaft extended from a pretensioner(4) and composed of a position detecting hole, a braking unit(25) controlling rotation of the gear, a detecting unit(20) detecting rotation of the gear, a motor(38) connected to the rotating shaft to rotate and reverse, a memory unit(42) storing the maximum value and the minimum value of the seat belt, a seat buckle sensor(44) mounted to the seat buckle to detect the assembling state of the seat belt, a distance measuring sensor(46) measuring the distance from the obstacle, a speed sensor(48) detecting the moving state of the vehicle, and a controller(40) adjusting the length of the seat belt to the maximum value by measuring the maximum value and the minimum value of the seat belt of the passenger, and reducing the length of the seat belt in predicting the collision by detecting the distance from the obstacle.
