摘要 PURPOSE: An ultrasonic scanning method and an ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus are provided to control a sporadic scanning operation using strong ultrasonic waves by monitoring a distribution value or a mean brightness value of the overall surface or a portion of an image. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus(100) includes an ultrasonic probe(1), a transceiver unit(2), a signal processing unit(3), a DSC(Digital Scan Converter)(4), a display unit(5), an operating console(6), a monitor value computing unit(7), and a controller unit(8). The signal processing unit generates ultrasonic image data based on the received signals. The display unit displays an image based on the display image data. The monitor value computing unit computes a dispersion value or mean brightness value as a monitor value based on the ultrasonic image data. The controller unit controls the operation of the entire apparatus.
