COMPOSITE INCLUDING OLIGOSACCHARIDE FROM BARLEY WHICH HAS ANTI-DIABETIC AND ANTI-LIPID ACTIVITIES

PURPOSE: Provided is a composite including oligosaccharide manufactured from beta-glucan derived from barley in high yield. Therefore, the composition has anti-diabetic and anti-lipid activities. CONSTITUTION: The composition for treating diabetes and hyperlipemia contains oligosaccharide which is manufactured by adding the supernatant of the cultured medium of Bacillus subtilis containing pBLC771(KFCC-11320) to beta-glucan derived from barley, followed by enzyme-reaction. In particular, the endo-beta-1,3-1,4-glucanase recovered from the supernatant is added to and enzyme-reacted with the beta-glucan derived from barley.
