PURPOSE: Provided are a method for manufacturing a controlled release pesticide formulation by mixing the active ingredient of the pesticide with biodegradable resin and a release controller and a product manufactured thereby. Therefore, the controlled release pesticide formulation continuously releases the active ingredient and is thus harmless to agricultural crops and long lasting pesticidal effect for over 80 days. CONSTITUTION: The controlled release pesticide formulation is manufactured by the steps of: heating 0.1-10 wt.% of the active ingredient of the pesticide, 40-49.9 wt.% of biodegradable polyester resin and the balance of the release controller selected from the group consisting of carbonate, calcium, starch, bentonite, phyrophyllite, talc, kaolin, gypsum, wollastonite, calcium sulphite or their mixture, at 50-150 deg,C, followed by mixing to give a master chip; and melting the master chip, followed by forming. |
