A fishing tackle device (1) comprises: a body (2) having a head (7) and a tail (8), a valley (10) located on a side of the tail (8); and one or more fingers (6), the one or more fingers (6) protruding outwardly from the tail (8); wherein a bait fish is able to be located on the valley (10) such that the fingers (6) are embedded within the baitfish. The head (7) is formed from a first material and the tail (8) is formed from a second material wherein the first material is denser than the second material.
