摘要 <p>The invention relates to a method and a device for the direct selection of the matrix elements, such as the pixels of a display, the memory cells, activating an output from a matrix control panel etc, in the conditions of an addressing system with a reduced number of control electrodes. According to the invention, the method consists in activating the element at the sought address, by means of a complex grid which selects, according to a control signal, the output position of an activating agent, so that the emergent beam activates a certain cell of the controlled matrix. According to the invention, the device contains a source (2) controlled by an electrode (9) which emits an activating agent (3) which may be an electron beam, electromagnetic radiation etc, which can be moved within the medium (4) inside the recipient (1) wherein the device can be found, and which crosses a complex grid (5) consisting of several grids arranged successively, which, depending on the controls applied to its set of electrodes (10), will allow the passing of the activating agent (3) only through certain regions, so that the emergent beam (6) will have a unique output position, activating one of the cells (7) of the matrix (8) which will transmit the information by means of the output electrode (11).</p>
