The converter has two circuits (111, 120) to generate respective reference voltages (VREF1, VREF2). An analog multiplexer (113) delivers the voltages when a notification signal of a standby mode of the converter is in respective logic states. A voltage conversion circuit (115) converts the output voltage level of the multiplexer and creates an internal voltage. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a semiconductor device comprising an internal voltage converter (b) an internal voltage conversion process (c) a corrosion test method of a semiconductor device.
