METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PHOSPHOR INK BY APPLYING ULTRASONIC WAVES

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a phosphor ink is provided to disperse a phosphor particle homogeneously and to reduce the time necessary to disperse, as well as to relieve the defect on a surface of the phosphor particle, which may be generated during dispersion. CONSTITUTION: The phosphor ink is manufactured by the method comprising the first step of introducing a phosphor particle and a dispersant into a first reaction vessel containing a solvent, followed by stirring to form a slurry for the phosphor ink; the second step of introducing a binder into a second reaction vessel containing the solvent to form a liquid mixture for the phosphor ink; the third step of introducing the slurry obtained in the first step into a dispersion vessel equipped with a piezoelectric element, and applying a first ultrasonic wave having low frequency and a second ultrasonic wave having high frequency to the dispersion vessel for a predetermined time alternately and periodically; and the fourth step of dispersing the slurry dispersed via application of ultrasonic waves in the third step, into a liquid mixture obtained in the second step.
