PURPOSE: A method is provided to filter suspended solids stably and effectively from a high temperature and strong alkali sodium aluminate solution, which dose not use calcium hydroxide, therefore is friendly to environment. And the method is an effective separation method under the high temperature and strong alkali condition. CONSTITUTION: The method contains the steps of: supplying the sodium aluminate solution(100)(QT) containing the suspended solids to a ceramic filter(77) under a pressure and then filtering; storing a part of the filtrate in a filtrate tank(88) and transferring the rest(QF) of the filtrate to a post-process; discharging a condensed sludge and the rest solution(QR) from the ceramic filter(77). The ceramic filter(77) has a pore size of 0.5-1 micrometer and is a tube-shaped porous composite separation membrane made of alumina. And the initial pressure applied to the ceramic filter(77) is 1-3kg/cm2.
