A device for performing osteosynthesis comprises a bone plate (1) with an underside (2), which is intended for resting against the bone, with an upper side (3), at least one through hole (4), which joins the underside to the upper side and is provided for accommodating a multiaxially pivotal bushing (10) for a bone screw, whereby the through hole has a central axis (5), as well as a bushing, which can be inserted into the through hole, including a central bore (11) for accommodating a bone screw , whereby the bore has a longitudinal axis (12), and the bushing has a peripheral outer surface (17) designed to be in contact with the through hole. The bushing is designed so that it can be radially compressed and radially expanded, and the cross-section (6) of the through hole, which is orthogonal to the central axis, is non-circular. The cross-section (16) of the bushing that is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis has a shape that essentially corresponds to the cross-section of the through hole of the bone plate, and the bushing inserted in the through hole is fixed so that it does not rotate in relation to the longitudinal axis thereof but, inside the through hole, remains pivotal in relation to the bone plate. |
