PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly assemble a food container when assembling and molding it using wood plates or the like and also to simply disassemble it. SOLUTION: The container has both front and rear side plates 3 and 4, and a base plate 5 formed between the side plates 3 and 4, and is equipped on the both side plates 3 and 4 with upward cuts 6 and 6 oppositely to each other to an approximately intermediate position in the vicinity of both right and left ends. In addition, a thin rectangular plate and both left and right side plates 7 and 8 made of the same material are provided, and downward cuts 9 and 9 are provided on the side plates 7 and 8 to an approximately intermediate part in the vicinity of front and rear ends. When the downward cuts 9 and 9 provided on the side plates 7 and 8 are fitted into the upward cuts 6 and 6 on the side plates 3 and 4, the upper surfaces of the side plates 7 and 8 coincide with the height of the standing side plates 3 and 4, and the lower sides of the side plates 7 and 8 come into contact with the base plate 5.
