PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle equipped with walk-in function, capable of spreading furthermore the space secured behind when the seat is slid to an ahead position beyond the normal slide adjust region. SOLUTION: The seat for the vehicle is equipped with a walk-in function whereby a slide locking means of a seat sliding mechanism 14 is disengaged to put the seat in slidable condition by tilting a seat back 20 ahead with respect to a seat cushion 10, wherein by tilting the seat back 20 ahead to the specified angle, a rotation is generated interlockingly in the direction in which the seat cushion 10 is sprung up.
