PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and economical closed circulation type method for culturing on land, rich in freedom of installation sites, growing in a high density and having a good yield, and a device for the same. SOLUTION: The method for culturing fishes in a closed circulation pathway is constituted by joining a plurality of culturing pipes having a prescribed length dimension with pipe-joining elements. In the method, by observing the growing state of fishes and shellfishes, soiling clouding materials such as excretion and the state of residual feeds through a window for observing the state in the fish-culturing pipes in the closed circulation growing pathways, it is possible to adjust/supply a suitable water amount of circulation water and a suitable amount of feed in the culturing pipes, give natural fine algae germinated and grown by a photo-synthesis in the pipe system and also filter/discharge the soiling material and remaining feed by a cleaning pathway installed together with the closed circulation pathway and joined as necessary. Also, by combining the method with a growth by a stationary system installed with hides by sinking after growing the fishes to a prescribed size, it is possible to obtain an extremely high growing efficiency.
