PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable advancing directions of light rays to be converted in order to make energy of a light source projected within a target range efficiently by solving the problem that many of light rays radiated from a light source are projected outside the target range to be irradiated and the light rays cause an evil. SOLUTION: This optical straightening body is configured by arranging a plurality of straightening units each of which consists of transparent material which has an acute-angle triangle form whose cross section expands in the advancing directions of incident light rays so that the incident light rays repeat total reflection at the inside of slopes, and are radiated from the rear end part, in parallel while being opposed to the incident light rays.
