<p>Die casting mould with internal re-entrant wall sections consists of two mould halves which are moved axially against each other. Each of these is fitted with several plates, which are aligned relative to each other and can be disconnected from each other. The mould is also fitted with internal protrusions and guides for these in one half of the mould. which also has a groove which is inclined relative to the direction of movement of the mould halves. Into the grooves fits a guide peg which is attached directly to the opposite mould half. This arrangement ensures that the moulds halves are separated from each other at the correct angle after casting, so that the internal protrusions do not keep the two halves locked together.</p> |
