PURPOSE: A construction method of waterways is provided to compose a bio-tope by recovering an embankment of the waterways environment-friendly. CONSTITUTION: Artificial mats(110,120) comprises artificial earth(112,122) to be composed of porous ceramic light members and nets(111,121) to be filled inside the artificial earth by shielding. Aquatic plants(1) are planted in the artificial mats by forming planting holes at regular intervals. Fixing devices are fixed in one side or both sides of the artificial mats planting the aquatic plants to be arranged and fixed on the ground. Thereby, the environmental-friendly environment is composed in waterways.
