<p>Dyes, insoluble in organic solvents but soluble in water are dispersed in an organic solvent by the addition of an emulsifier to an aq. soln of the dyes pref. 50-150 p.b.w dye to 100 water. Anionic or non-ionic emulsifiers are used in a neutral mediums to which acid is added but anionic emulsifiers are used in an acid medium.</p> |
