AIR CONDITIONER FOR COOLING, PURIFYING, AND VENTILATING THE ROOM AT THE SAME TIME BY AN AIR CONDITIONING UNIT

PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to reduce temperature difference between the room temperature and the outdoor air by heat-exchanging the room air flowing along a first passage and the outdoor air flowing along a second passage by a heat exchanger without mixing. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner is composed of an air conditioning unit(20) embedding cooling cycle components and cooling/heating the room and an air purifying unit(30) embedding a filter unit(40a,40b) for separating pollutant contained in the air and executing an air purifying operation for sucking in, purifying, and then discharging the room air and a ventilation operation for sucking in and discharging the room air to the outside and sucking in and ejecting the external air into the room. The air purifying unit comprises a first passage(50) for guiding the room air to the outside for the ventilation operation and the room air into the room for the air purifying operation and a second passage(60) for sucking in the external air from the outside for the ventilation operation and sucking in and discharging the room air to the room for the air purifying operation.
