摘要 FIELD: medical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has palm member, artificial fingers composed from hollow phalanx members, tendons for clenching the artificial fingers in fists and return springs for making the fingers straight. The device also has ratchet-wheel with pulley arranged above the ratchet-wheel and having groove along the perimeter for placing tendon fascicle, ratchet-wheel dog, tommy bar for rotating the ratchet-wheel and fixing member for holding the dog. The tendon members for clenching the artificial fingers in fists are attached to upper phalanges ends, brought through inside of the artificial fingers, through ratchet-wheel pulley and attached to a cuff mountable above elbow articulation. The artificial fingers allow clenching fists, when bending arm or rotating pulley using the tommy bar owing to tendons being stretched, and straightening with return springs, when straightening the arm or bringing the dog out of engagement with ratchet-wheel teeth. ^ EFFECT: simplified design; retained functional features. ^ 1 dwg
